– Team Building and Group Activities
People who work together benefit from playing together!
These activities will challenge their skills,
improve communication and understanding of differences, plus
naturally build trust. All while they are enjoying a positive experience
away from the office.
Workshops are taught with high quality single sea kayaks, with all boats
and gear provided. Instructor is an American Canoe Association-Certified Open Water
Instructor, with Wilderness First Responder qualifications. Safety is a high
priority and classes are designed for the skill level of participants, with
gear appropriate to activities. Events are held in Richland. |
Two
Team Building Options:
Team Building–1
Four-hour group interactive kayak lesson designed to increase a groups’
ability to work together, communicate and solve problems. Basic kayak
instruction followed by group skill and game activities. Four to Six people.
Team Building–2
A full-day program for 8 to 12 people. This option combines on-land discussion and
activities to improve organization and team efforts, with on-water kayak lessons and
interactive games. A local management consultant brings expertise in organizational development
and personal interaction to this group.

Gatherings, and Tours
Enhance your time together with fun on the water!
Group Gatherings
Columia Kayak Adventures can provide up to six single and two tandem sea
kayaks (10 seats), with all gear for group activites. Meet at a riverside park and the boats can be
available for lessons, games such as water soccer, or for tours to and from the park.
Group Tours
Groups up to 10 people (more if they have their own boats), can take a tour
down the Yakima River, through the Yakima Delta, or arrange a special Full Moon Tour.
A popular tour is to put in at Leslie Groves in North Richland and paddle downriver to Columbia
Point Marina for dinner at Anthony's Restaurant. Tours can be from 2 hours to all day, or
even multi-day with camping.

CKA can provide suggestions for types of activities, locations to hold your events, or places
and types of tours to fit the interest and goals of your group.
After your event is scheduled, and registration completed, an informational sheet will be sent
to you confirming event time and location, plus information
on things to bring, appropriate clothing or other helpful
tips.
Cancellation Policy
Team Building Workshops and Full Day Custom Events require a 50% deposit
at time of registration, and full payment on day of event, unless invoicing
has been arranged. A full refund is available, less a 10% fee, if cancellations
are made 10 days prior to the event. No refunds are made if cancellation is made
with less than 10 days notice. It may be possible to reschedule.
Full payment is due at time of registration for Custom Tours and Events
less than full day in length. Full refunds (less a $25 office fee) are
given if cancellations are made within 5 days of tour or event.
No refunds are made if cancellation is made with less
than 5 days notice.
CKA reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel an event or tour
due to unsafe conditions. We do not cancel due to rain.
